Illinois, the rideshare you own.
Founding members put Fare Co-op on the road in Chicago. Buy one share or several — each makes you a co-owner earning 85–90% of ride revenue after hard costs. Lock in the $200 founding price and your share stays $200 for good; new shares move to $400 once Illinois is fully licensed and operating.

You're not just a driver. You're a co-owner.
The Illinois full share is real ownership in Fare Co-op — the highest earning tier and a genuine seat at the table. Here's what one share carries.
Of ride revenue, after hard costs
The top rate for full shareholders, paid instantly via Stripe (5% fee on instant deposits). Once Illinois is fully operational, full shareholders pay a $52.50/month maintenance fee per share.
One member, one vote
Every member gets a single equal vote — no matter how many shares they hold. Elect your Illinois chapter leaders and weigh in on driver referendums. Extra shares grow your economic stake, never your voting power.
A share in the co-op
Real membership in a driver-owned cooperative — with dividends or patronage returns if and when the Board declares them from surplus.
Referral profit pool
A quarter of net profits flows to the members who build the movement. Refer drivers and riders and keep earning as your network grows.
What 100 founding shares actually unlock.
Founding-member capital gets Fare Co-op licensed, insured, and running in Chicago. Together, 100 founding shares cover the first stretch — insurance, the city license, and the systems that keep the platform live — so drivers launch on infrastructure we own, not a venture fund's.
Illinois charges no statewide rideshare license fee — the launch costs are commercial insurance, Chicago's city TNP license, and the servers, database, and local support that keep the co-op running. Per-ride city charges below are ongoing costs paid on trips, not part of this founding target.
Per-ride Chicago charges (paid on rides, not upfront): $1.25 standard trip · $0.65 shared · +$1.50 downtown congestion in peak hours · +$5.00 at O'Hare, Midway, Navy Pier & McCormick Place.
You're covered on every Illinois trip.
While you drive on the Fare Co-op platform in Illinois, you're protected by a commercial rideshare policy underwritten by The Hartford — with limits that meet the Illinois Transportation Network Providers Act.
Combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage — from the moment you accept a ride through drop-off (Periods 2 & 3).
Contingent liability when the app is on and you're waiting for a request: $50k per person and $100k per accident bodily injury, plus $25k property damage.
Illinois UM & UIM protection is built into the policy — covering you if an at-fault driver has no insurance or too little.
This commercial coverage applies while you're active on the Fare Co-op platform in Illinois. It doesn't replace the personal auto insurance you carry as a driver.
The rideshare drivers built.
Fare Co-op is a multi-stakeholder cooperative where drivers hold 50% of the ownership — not Wall Street, not venture capital. In under a year it became America's 3rd largest fully licensed rideshare, now operating across six states with no surge pricing and one member, one vote. The long-term plan even puts the coming autonomous vehicles in drivers' hands, so the technology built to replace drivers is owned by them instead.

Once Illinois is fully operational, full shareholders pay a $52.50/month maintenance fee per share — covering insurance, platform maintenance and development, marketing, and continued growth. Share purchases can be cancelled within 3 days; after that they're final, and share value may rise or fall.
