Today, our customers benefit from on average ~20% lower fares, no surge pricing, and transparent pricing, while drivers earn significantly more per ride, have a real voice in governance, and share in the value they help create.
At the core of Fare Co-op is a community-powered referral program that pays members for referring riders and drivers. This model enables organic, word-of-mouth growth, aligns incentives across the network, and ensures profits are shared with those who actively build the platform — not extracted by outside corporations.
Unlike traditional gig platforms, Fare Co-op is owned and governed by its stakeholders. Local chapters form a federation, keeping decision-making close to the communities served while scaling nationally through cooperation.
