The $200 Full Share

You're not just a driver. You're a co-owner.

The Illinois full share is real ownership in Fare Co-op — the highest earning tier and a genuine seat at the table. Here's what one share carries.

85–90%

Of ride revenue, after hard costs

The top rate for full shareholders, paid instantly via Stripe (5% fee on instant deposits). Once Illinois is fully operational, full shareholders pay a $52.50/month maintenance fee per share.

1 = 1

One member, one vote

Every member gets a single equal vote — no matter how many shares they hold. Elect your Illinois chapter leaders and weigh in on driver referendums. Extra shares grow your economic stake, never your voting power.

Co-owner

A share in the co-op

Real membership in a driver-owned cooperative — with dividends or patronage returns if and when the Board declares them from surplus.

25%

Referral profit pool

A quarter of net profits flows to the members who build the movement. Refer drivers and riders and keep earning as your network grows.

What 100 founding shares actually unlock.

Founding-member capital gets Fare Co-op licensed, insured, and running in Chicago. Together, 100 founding shares cover the first stretch — insurance, the city license, and the systems that keep the platform live — so drivers launch on infrastructure we own, not a venture fund's.

Insurance (monthly)$7,000
Chicago TNP license (annual)$10,000
Operations — servers, database & local support (monthly)$3,000
Founding target · 100 shares × $200$20,000

Illinois charges no statewide rideshare license fee — the launch costs are commercial insurance, Chicago's city TNP license, and the servers, database, and local support that keep the co-op running. Per-ride city charges below are ongoing costs paid on trips, not part of this founding target.

Per-ride Chicago charges (paid on rides, not upfront): $1.25 standard trip · $0.65 shared · +$1.50 downtown congestion in peak hours · +$5.00 at O'Hare, Midway, Navy Pier & McCormick Place.

About Fare Co-op

The rideshare drivers built.

Fare Co-op is a multi-stakeholder cooperative where drivers hold 50% of the ownership — not Wall Street, not venture capital. In under a year it became America's 3rd largest fully licensed rideshare, now operating across six states with no surge pricing and one member, one vote. The long-term plan even puts the coming autonomous vehicles in drivers' hands, so the technology built to replace drivers is owned by them instead.

Put Chicago on the map. Own it while you do.

Buy one share or a dozen — each is real ownership and a bigger stake in the road ahead. The founding price is $200 today, and every share you buy now stays locked at $200 for good. Once Illinois is fully licensed and operating, new shares move to $400. Get in at the founding price — Illinois drives on rails we own together, not Wall Street's, not a venture fund's. Yours.

Once Illinois is fully operational, full shareholders pay a $52.50/month maintenance fee per share — covering insurance, platform maintenance and development, marketing, and continued growth. Share purchases can be cancelled within 3 days; after that they're final, and share value may rise or fall.

A full co-op share is a full cooperative share (Preferred Share) representing membership in the Local Driver Federation Cooperative (d/b/a Fare Co-op). The founding Illinois price is $200 and reflects early participation while Fare Co-op works toward licensing and operations; when a market becomes fully licensed and operating the price for new shares increases (to $400 for markets at that tier), while previously purchased shares retain their original price. Each member has one vote regardless of the number of shares held. Full shareholders in fully operational regions pay a $52.50 per-share monthly maintenance fee covering insurance, platform maintenance and development, marketing, regulatory compliance, and continued growth; this fee begins only after Fare Co-op is fully licensed and operational in the region. Full shareholders may earn 85%–90% of ride revenue after hard costs (such as insurance, local or municipal taxes, and payment-processing fees); this is not a guarantee of income, which depends on rides completed, demand, and costs. Instant payouts via Stripe carry a 5% fee. Share purchases may be cancelled and refunded within three days of purchase; after that they are final and non-refundable. Cooperative share purchases are investments and may increase or decrease in value; dividends or patronage returns, if any, are declared solely at the Board’s discretion and are not guaranteed, and shares are non-transferable with no secondary market. Individual drivers vote in local chapter elections and bi-annual driver referendums; Federation-level votes are cast through Local Area Cooperatives. This page is an invitation to become a cooperative member and is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy a security in any jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful.
